Horley Photograpic Club was formed in March 1958 and reflects a growing interest in photography, with members of varying ability and knowledge, the club has expanded to a level equal to that of other regional cubs yet retaining a friendly competitive atmosphere.

Our largest internal competition is the Ayala Shield which has an open theme with points being built up through the several rounds within the season. This is complemented by themed competitions and friendly battles with other clubs. These competitions provide an outlet for members work, each receiving constructive and instructive criticism from a variety of visiting judges.
